I took off from work today, just woke up not long ago.

Went to Zouk's mambo night yesterday. Before that was supposed to send Shanel off at the airport, but couldn't make it because i have to work. But anyways, i did called her and apologized. I asked not to cry later when she has to part with Caleen and friends. Tricia told me she did! Just knew it. Haha! :D

Ohh. I went Zouk because of Tricia's post bdae celebration. I even took a day's off for the next morning. But like usual, expectations wasn't what you always wanted. Expected a huge bunch of friends (at least like close friends on my side, other than the girls), yet they fail me again.

It's okay. No one shall be blamed. This is why i usually don't like go promising friends straight, for appointments and meetups, I'll usually go "Let's see how first", "I'll confirm with you again", "Don't know leh". Cos' when you do, you have to because you promised them. My principles, if i did promise, i shall do it. No no no, not because they're girls, they could be guys as well. Like i say, i always put my friends above all, not to even mention the closer ones. You know who you are lah, and probably some didn't know i may already considered you as one.

Okay, let's come back. Nonetheless, i still had fun with Tricia's friends. They're nice peeps!

We queued Zouk instead of Phuture, as the Q was obviously shorter and we didn't intend to dance R&B. I even met the club queen, Meiting, and her bf. Haha! Then, we drank and played guessing games initially while waiting for mambo "to start". I met Beatrice on the way to the toilet, when she met Tricia, both of them are like crazy women. Haha! I think she's now a frequent clubber already lah! Anyways, Trish and Bea went down to dance first. The rest of us joined them later, but somehow lost them. We were busy texting each other our current location, but still we couldn't locate each other. Then we decide to leave at 2 odd.

The school belle planned to cab home with me, but we decided to leave first and have supper at East Coast area. She stayed behind with her friends. But speaking of the Chai Chee Bah Chor Mee we went, it was really tasty, just as i felt really hungry. I heard that's quite a famous stall, but i've never heard of or went before. Maybe i'm suaku. HAHA!

Summary of yesterday's clubbing. Quite unusual?
- Of all the clubbing trips, drank the least amount of alcohol, face didn't even turned red or felt hot.
- Perspired the least amount, despite being excessively rich in my sweat glands.
- Music wasn't that good. Either i don't know many of the songs, or i'm still not a frequent Mambo-er.
- Atmosphere and mood wasn't there.
- People wasn't very keen to do the dancemoves. You probably would feel awkward if you're the only one doing.
- Way too many people, Trish mentioned that there's some NUS faculty event. Actually the crowd is not to be astonished by.

AND AND AND. I was really guilty and apologetic towards Tricia Koh. She texted me when i reached home, saying she knew i wasn't totally enjoying myself at Zouk. The truth is that i just got way toooo tired because of my hectic work days. Don't worry, I still had fun with you, Caleen and your friends! I still hope you enjoyed the belated birthday celebration!

Damn. I've been whining quite a lot these days huh?

One of my fav in Mambo, Together Forever by Rick Astley.

Btw, i met her again, very nice brows. :)
