In addition to the previous post about the Jade Seah's matter, there's something i wanna share. I was listening to Class 95, when i heard an advertisement, an extract from a call-in radio conversation.

Now it's an advertisement that keeps repeating every few hours! Oh poor Jade Seah!

Went to the Comex IT Show today and yesterday. It was soooooo overly crowded with people! There was alot of items i wanted to buy, but my pocket and the fact that i'm going to enlist didn't allowed that to happen. Today was to purely accompany Felix to take a look, as Kok Boon, Weili and Shaoqi came yesterday already. We told Felix, "Yesterday I came was to check out the IT stuffs, today i just come to check out the girls." And the rest of us agreed. Haha!

Finally bought myself something, a bermuda. Initially wanted to watch a movie, and hang around as we didn't want to go home at such an early time. But we still headed home, as there's no suitable movies and timings. So bored, when i finally have time to go out to town for shopping, i have to "Home Sweet Home" so early. Remember, i have no more time left to waste! I cherish my time now!

Oh, I think i'm liking my hair more and more already, even if any of my friends find it ugly. I took less than 5 minutes to set my hair today! I was the earliest to reach today! SURPRISE RIGHT?! It's my best make-up record till date! I'm afraid I might want to keep this short even after I ORD, but who knows, i may not think that way then.

Woo, cool.

Just came back from a haircut, with Shaoqi. Before going for the cut, we took a photo of ourselves, because we'll only see something like that 2 years later! But it's more like taking our "last" photos! :D

This time is really short, so short that you'd laugh at me. Had a Mohawk, or to be exact, a Fauxhawk hairstyle. I took like more than an hour to finish everything. Long and thick hair, huh? I don't know what hairstyle Shaoqi showed my hairdresser to cut, but it does look nice on him too!

We were really lucky to come today, because Saturday's their last day already! Their lease has ended, probably be moving somewhere else! Sad lor! But I'll only need their services 2 years later? Haha! Kel, take note ah, no more Shine Beauty Hair Salon already! Lols.

Did you know?

During a Olympics report programme on Ch 5, Jade Seah actually uttered the F-word during a technical issue. It's the hottest topic discussed. There are many different versions i've heard, of why she said that. Thou all are untrue, but they're actually quite funny and crappy. Ask me, i'll tell you personally!

You can easily search the video at Youtube. I'm a sadist, I can actually laugh while watching the video. Heh. Okay, personally i don't believe someone has really never spoken vulgarities before lah. Even if you really didn't, I believe you might have said it in your heart lor. That's not important. I don't think it's a big deal after all, she just have to watch her mic in future. Poor Jade Seah, have to be criticized for everything she does.

Last weekend.

Tell you what, I'm still watching the videos from my previous post, and still laughing at them! Haha.

Time have been passing by, way too quickly, at such rapid speeds such that it's not noticeable.

I've just gotten my enlistment letter, and now, in less than a month's time, I'm gonna be a botak. Worse thing, I really have very "good" friends that constantly remind me! "I have xx days to army soon", or "I have xx days to ORD". The latter one is definitely the most demoralizing one.

Speaking of last Saturday, I went to The Arena to support Beatrice for the Jam & Hop event, it's actually a NUS' bizad pageant. She's got into the finals that day, not sure for now. Anyways, it was fun and very happening that night!

Caleen was too sick to come that night, so i thought i'd spend the night lonely. But no, Tricia's boyfriend and friends were rather friendly and good to hangout with. So i kinda made some new friends there. Pardon me if i get their names wrong okay! :)

We were queuing up outside the club, but it wasn't organised at all, people were queuing from everywhere. The rest of them managed to get in first, leaving with me and yixiong behind. He was in front of me. Was texting and looking around. Tricia called to ask us to hurry in. I tapped the guy in front of me, and said "Hey, Tricia is asking us to go in already." That guy looked and me, and gave the "HUH" look. Then i thought "OH SHIT, HE'S THE WRONG GUY!". The worst thing is that the queue is damn slowwww, and he was still in front of me, with all the people who witnessed it previously. If not, i would normally quickly scoot off!


Lost them inside. There were also lots of people moving around, i was lazy, so i just stood at in behind some crowd and watched. NUS people were damnnnnn high!

Nearing the end of the event, I got some alcohol at the counter. While waiting, on my right were those contestants waiting to go onto the stage. The lightings were rather dim. I was searching for Beatrice and quickly waved at her, smiling happily. "She" somehow gave some response and walked forward, and so i smiled and waved at her again!

Then i realised "she" was talking and walking towards her friend that is in front of me! It's actually F3 the one i saw! I swore she looked so much like Beatrice lah! SHIT! I did it again! Again, the worst thing is the other contestants actually witnessed what i was doing, and I'm still waiting for my drink!!!!!

My face really don't know where to put lah.

Seriously. It's a repeat of misrecognising Caleen during my poly days again. I'm not gonna greet anyone in future unless i'm 500% sure! Suay lah, 2 similar situations have to happen on the same day.

We went to Newton Food Center for supper later. That particular night, i've seen all the unglam sides of Beatrice. HAHA!

The following day, Tricia asked me to Anchorvale CC with Yihuai. Together came Asmine and bf, Jeremy. Yihuai and Jeremy are actually sec sch friends with Adelin! Anyway, the girls went swimming, we went to the gym. The gym is great, with all nice and sophisticated equipments, but it's quite far from home! But i shall go there again!

mixed.

I was quite emo for past 2 weeks, but i was somehow revived of my lameness and crap recently. By Tricia's bf. Haha. I'm glad i'm feeling better now. Just a moment ago, i was singing loudly in front of my computer, singing old canto/mando songs. I think i'm really very noisy (haha!), but my parents can't do anything, so i just continued singing! Anyhow sing! Lol.

I just think i'm not really fated with the term "swimming", or simply call it "suay". Went swimming with Kokboon on Monday. Omg, he's really tanned and fit! Okay, that's not the point, haha. We were talking about the butterfly stroke, he tried to show it.

Then I, trying to be a smart alec, decided to immitate Michael Phelps aka The Baltimore Bullet. *Kluck* I sprained my right arm! DAMN PAIN LAH! The worse thing is, i swam quite a distance away from the side of the pool. I was trying to act like there's no pain, and slowing walked towards the side. You should have seen my expression! It was really embarrassing lah! That's the 3rd injury on my right arm already. The very first i injured was while I was trying to smash a shot playing badminton. It took a year to heal. Second, trying to adjust my arms on the butterfly machine in the gym. I let go the weights while still in position. It took at least 1 month. And now it still hurts, i wonder how long.

As it was drizzling/cloudy, we were still waiting for the sun to come out. The moment we stepped out the swimming complex, a hot and scorching sun was high up the sky. How infuriating it was!

life.

You must be wondering, what am i doing nowadays since i'm not longer working. No, i don't lead a gaming life anymore. Slowly, losing interest already, in fact i haven gamed for the past 2 months? I'm sleeping at 12-1PM and walking up super early at around 10-11AM. It's really considered early for my case. Probably used to my sleeping habits when i'm still working at SGH. At night, i'll watch English movies or Cantonese dramas, to kill time instead. Life's quite boring, right?

I'm also been busy hitting the gym and swimming pool on alternate days. Gym is fine, but swimming?! Shawn, you know meh?! I don't deny the fact that i don't know how to swim. I don't wanna repeat "that same old story" again. Despite the fact, I've been trying to learn how to. To be honest, i know the strokes and can swim a distance, but not too used to the breathing techniques, can't coordinate well. I can learn in army too, but in the army-way.

Ohh, George brought me to a new swimming pool last Tues. Was very disappointed on how it had a sudden downpour initially, but luckily. Hmm, it's located at Sengkang, at the newly built Anchorvale's community centre. It's new, so i assume it's not very crowded (at times). There's gym and probably a badminton court i guess. But i've only been to the swimming pool, it's quite similar to that of the Jurong "fun" pool.

Has a few slides, not only for young children, but for adults too. I sat on it before. First time with George, water went gushing directly into my nose, and i even hit my heel bone. Second time on Wed with Shaoqi, I pinched my nose very tightly, but i forgot my heel. The impact was so great that i hit my heel bone again! Same leg same place! It's so painful that I'm now walking with a limp. And i even went to the gym today and ran close to 3km, great work shawn.

Speaking of gym, i have this triathlon event, Aviva Ironman 70.3KM Singapore, as asked by my gym instructor friend. It's 1.2mile/1.9KM for swimming, 56mile/90.1KM for cycling and 13.1mile/21.1KM for running. It's not asking anyone be a participant, but to be a event helper. At East Coast Park, on 7 September. Interested please contact me. But if you're going there to play, please don't freaking join, don't hai me okay.

My birthday celebrations.

Didn't go out yesterday, many couldn't make it. My friends are all delicious, rich and creamy cheese-flavoured pies. Ha.

Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE! :D

And.. I've finally decided to blog about my birthday celebrations with all my friends. And that's because the very-busy Caleen finally sent me the photos. Here they are..

Tuesday (29th July)
That night, me, Sandra and Jiamin went to Fish & Co. at The Glass House. That was the first time i went there, the ambience was nice, with a live band singing on the stage. After much talking and eating, i went to the toilet.

10 seconds after i sat down on my seat, i was surrounded with a bunch of Fish & Co. people. Asked for my name and started singing the Fish & Co.'s version of the Happy Birthday song. Then sang the common Happy Birthday song. Not softly one lor, almost like shouting! So paiseh!

Forgot to mention that i had to STAND UP ON THE CHAIR while they sing! I was so high up, holding the sparkling sticks (don't know what's that really called). DAMN PAISEH. Everyone was looking at you, and also singing the songs. My face was stiffed, i couldn't really smile! But it was a good experience! :)



Desperately looking around for help. Haha.


Was dying to quickly finish everything, but I wasn't allowed to come down after they finished singing. I had to blow the candles from where i was standing!!!! Yes, I'm not very tall but it was still of a great height! I failed a few times then i decided to "play cheat"! Haha.

Sandra had an exactly same one. Few weeks ago, we had steamboat, and she was trying change her watch's strap from the dirty white to a new black strap she bought. She wanted to go to the watch dealer, so i volunteered to help her for free. Isn't that better?

When it's done, I wanted to return to her, but she said she's giving the watch to me! I really helped her out of goodwill. I can't accept anything like this not matter how friend we are lah! I insisted on returning to her, and she still thought that i LOVED that watch. Then there came this watch. Nevermind, i still like it, i have a complete set of blacks and reds to match now.

Thursday (31st July)
Had a small gathering with my poly friends since a few others couldn't make it. Ate at Manhatan Fish Market located in PS. Yes it's a fish restaurant again. Have to really thank Adelin for this, for helping for plan and ask them out. :)


HAHA! The card they gave me. I didn't dared to take this out initially! Machiam like i'm in possession of some porno stuff!

That guy placed some cream on the table, and before walking off, he smeared some cream on my face without my knowledge! I was surprised but wasn't angry or unhappy lah, i'm still quite sporting. But just thinking what if it's other people who can not take it? :)


My friend is smearing the cream sooooooo happily on me! He's asking everyone to do it, as he claims it's very 好玩!

Friday (1st August)
Met up with Tricia and Caleen at this restaurant called Spageddies Italian Kitchen at Paragon. Meet Caleen with her new hairstyle. It's quite trendy and nice, but she insisted it's not nice! Girls, girls, girls!

Saturday (2nd August)

Went out to my usual gang which includes Felix, Kelvin, Weili, Shaoqi, Leeleng and Tongkiat. We're celebrating Tong Kiat's birthday which falls on the 31st as well. First, we watched Red Cliff the movie. It was nice, but it ended surprisingly and abruptly.

Then we had our dinner at Manhatan Fish Market! I'm there again! Same branch same place! Notice this is the 3rd time i had dinner in a fish restaurant! That same guy was there, we chatted like i was friends with him. Haha.

Had all our own set meals, with a shared Seafood Platter. After dinner, we headed to the arcade. Played table soccer! Thou it's a classic game, but we totally enjoyed it! So crazily! And our team won most of time, because of the best striker, me! After killing time, we watched Money No Enough 2, our 2nd movie for the day.

Speaking of the movie, it's directing towards Singapore's most common talkabouts, e.g. ERP. Of course it's funny, but yet there are scenes that are definitely utmost touching. I nearly teared because of the mother, so sad and poor thing. I definitely not treat my mum this way in future!

Anyway. I did enjoyed that day despite not receiving any presents, I'm really really very happy with their presence!! Weili wanted to buy me a guitar! Thank you Weili, i want an electric guitar! Just kiddin'! HAHA! How I wished for more of these gatherings! :)

To sum up everything...
it was one my most memorable birthdays, one that i've never experienced yet, like the way how they celebrated for me. In all, i was happy to have so many friends celebrating with me, i'm not very bothered about the gifts. I have very much expressed myself and the after-thoughts in my previous post already, so i feel it's not necessary to repeat that again.
