On Tuesday night.

Had 6 free tickets for the premiere preview for the movie, Batman. Asked Tricia, Caleen and Beatrice initially, but all couldn't make it at the end. I actually only had SQ in mind, but i thot we can only hold up 2 tickets then, so i asked the girls first. Anyway, a couple of them agreed and declined, making George, Tong Kiat and Shaoqi the final takers. Oh yes, the remaining 2 tics were left wasted.

I've been to quite alot of these movie events (thanks to my mum) together with my friends, but this time i was kinda surprised. Before entering the theatre, we were held up by this very muscular guy, wearing the "Security" t-shirt. He has to check our bags, and have to surrender all camera and handphones to the counter. This is indeed the first time i encountered this. But then again, it's a sneak preview so i understand it's for anti-piracy purposes.

Speaking of the movie, it's a very cool and nice one. Effects are cool, plot is good and the characters are handsome and pretty. But the only setback is the duration of the movie. Wowwwwww. Started 9.15PM, and ended 11.50PM.

This has been quite a rather good week, but just the usual and frequent tiredness that displeases me. Work is still going smoothly at the moment. But just a little lonely nowadays. 2 best friends in army now, not trying to be gay, but i kinda miss them now. Now even Shaoqi is hard to meet up, I'll be lucky if i can meet him for lunch at SGH. I have no more friendssssssssss already! :(

Cutting all that bullshit out, i really have to mention I like my hair now. It's super cooling at the back, especially when the cool air blows in the MRT. Wow. No sweat. Waha.

And, i've got a new pair of glasses. If you have noticed, i've been wearing the metal-framed one. It's because my old black-framed one broke. You might think my new pair is not of any difference, but there is lah. Initially, i wanted something more geeky, but that seems too "action" already, so i decided not to. But what's important is that my vision has improved! As in the degrees was lowered! Now it's 525 for both eyes. It seems that it's dropping with every visit there! GOOD! Congrats me please. :)

What about WORK in SGH?

I really get well with most of the colleagues well, except for the bigger bosses aka the "4-heavenly kings". I'd say my department is really a food department, i'm always offered with food, food, food. Damn, i have to run extra laps again!

Just a week ago, we had this "bread-making" event in office. Toasting bread accompanying with stuff like luncheon meat, tuna, vegetables, etc. Didn't have to pay at all. Then today, i was treated free Mac for lunch because i had helped them out with lots of PO sorting. But then again, it's my job, so its not really necessary for the treat. But i sincerely thank them for it. :)

Embarassing moments..

I was speaking with Miss Pencil Skirt on the phone regarding some samples to be submitted in few days ago. Our conversation..

Me: Hi! It's me, Shawn, we'll need some samples for the item, Mammary Prosthesis and Tissue Expanders, i wonder when can you deliver them?

Her: Hi Shawn! Errrr. Can you repeat the items again?

Me: Ohh, it's the Mammary Prosthesis and Tissue Expanders.

Her: Orhhh. You mean the breast implants huh?

Me: Errr. Yah yah yah.

You should see the awkwardness i had while on the phone. I knew the what that item was, but didn't wanted to say "breast implants" because it sounded too.... you know, too "straightforward", and moreover speaking to a lady.

I felt quite paiseh because i had the "wah lao, don't act cheem leh!" feeling myself, although she didn't mention anything.

Yet another one..

This time with another lady. Inquiring some delivery status..

..Blah blah blah...

Her: Is that a blanket order?

Me: Errr, it's not a blanket, it's a blah blah blah table.

Her: Errr, that's not what i meant. Nevermind, do you have the PO number instead?

WHAT THE F.....

FISH lah. I'm down with illnesses again. Woke up in the morning, feeling the dry throat and the nasal flow. You've been listening to me complain for like whole 2 weeks, and yes it's been going on-and-off for that 2 weeks time. I really want to recover lah, and hopefully can go Zouk a healthy man, during Trish's birthday.

Really buay tahan liao. Finally went to doc, has very little people today, surprisingly. Just took my medicine, feeling very tired and drowsy now. Taking a nap first, later going out with the guys for a movie.

These are songs i'm so in love these days. Especially Michelle by The Beatles, the lyrics are so nice. I listen like everyday. I know how to pronounce the french part, but it's using a very funny way. Haha. And i finally got hold of ALL The Beatles' albums they ever released! They're good!

Stepppppp Up 2!

Went to watch Step Up 2 as already postponed many times. Finally! Speaking of the movie, it was really nice! The dance moves are soooooooo damn cool and fantastic. Make me also wanna go learn some dancing already! The lead actress is really hot! What more, Cassie is also one of the actresses in there. That's why i find her so familiar. Btw, she's really pretty in there!



Rating: 8.5/10

Then we went on to Hougang's lan shop to play some CS. Not as good as before already. Been almost a year since i've gone places like that to waste money. Anyway it was fun, but you couldn't call me Wonderfruits' "Durian" anymore. :(

AND AND AND...

Not forgetting the Step Up 2 soundtrack! I even heard their OST before i've seen it. SUPER NICE! Sometimes, you should just stop your rock, emocore, love and whatever songs and listen some R&B ones! This OST is bound to get you SHAKING!!

One wrong move... Kills them all.

Yesterday was supposed to be a dinner with Ms Natasha, Mrs Fang, and us. Lots of uncertainty in between, then it was finally finalised. Then Natasha cannot sia. Haiz, gotta wait liao.

Today went to PS for the movie, Fatal Move. Long time never go out already, i dont want to be 宅男! (thanks ah adels :) ). Felt so good, smelling the air outside of Serangoon!

The movie was not too bad.. But lots of violence, sword-slashing with blood and limbs all over. The girl-torturing part was totally gruesome! That guy took the pliers, and removed her top and bottom front tooth, and one of her fingernails!!! Errr, WTF.

I don't understand the last part thou. But still i'll give it a 8/10 rating, with those visual effects and storyline.

I would like to recommend all you guys a funny (but nice) song i've heard years ago. I happen to hear it on my MP3 player some time ago and have been listening. Probably many have heard of it already. :)

Insomniac.

Are you suffering from insomnia too? Because i am! But it's no big deal. Been like this for since upper sec.

I've been turning and tossing on the bed, consecutively for don't know how many days already, and i have to wake up early morning for the Project Show 08's rehearsal. I am tired, but just cannot fall asleep. Probably not been running regularly. Oh, running and doing exercises is just another temporary workaround i've implemented. This would then tire me out, and thus (hopefully) make me go to sleep. :(

And that stupid rehearsal, go there wait wait wait, talk awhile then can go off already. So lame lah.

My friends. Best friends.

Went for a swim at Shanel's condo yesterday afternoon. With Weili and Felix. Was cloudy initially, but luckily the sun came out awhile before it went back in again.

Could sun-tan awhile. Then used the steambath there, super refreshing! Of course, not forgetting about the crazy things/actions we do and laugh there.

Went for supper at Punggol Park's 24hr kopitiam just now. With Felix, Weili, Kelvin and his Lau, Lee Leng. Haha. Crapped alot, and found out that stupid Kelvin exposed all our secrets to Lee Leng! And she even wanted to know what is the meaning of PPS! Really super funny! Haha!

I REALLY LIKE THIS SONG. Franz Ferdinand is of course the original version. But i still prefer FF's version as compared to the cover version made by Scissor Sisters. It's damn cool. I think it's quite highly rated as one of the best Indie anthems in some charts or something. NICE. :)

Boyz II Men - End Of The Road


I chanced by this song one late night on MTV channel where they show old MTVs. And i really really really really like this song. The acapella is even power! Super nice. In fact, most songs from Boyz II Men are nice. But cannot always listen, sure get emo easily one.

This song is super retro, but i like it. This was featured in Stephen Chow's movie, CJ7. And i find it soooo familiar, because i used to listen to Boney M.'s tracks since young. Dad love them.

This track was featured in Transformers The Movie. I like how the soft and smooth rock was played. Baby come back, any kind of fool could see...
