If i could remember...

...what happened recently. Events that happened like few weeks ago.

TP Graduation 2008 (23rd May)

Lets just talk about TP grad day, which is about a month ago already! I was waiting for friends to send the other photos. Till now still haven send, but i just don't want to wait already lah.

Okay, that day i remember it was very hot, and i was sweating throughout the whole day. And i still had to wear that "harry potter" suit. I should just say some "abracadabra" to make it snow. Hee. Sorry, lame. In fact, not only me lah, but i would say most of the graduands. My hair set swee swee nice nice one leh, sweat so much ugly already.

And i was the latecomer without any seats at TCC, not because i was late for the event. But i didn't know much register! Damn. So I had to move to some LT in Eng sch instead. To my surprise, friends like George, Han Haw, Jorita and Geraldine was there too! Haha, glad i've got some late friends there. We were at the LT all the while, we went to TCC only for the receiving the diploma. Anyways, the photos...



I've just received my official grad photos from mail, as in the one i paid money for. Ms Low wanted to frame it up, Old Lee wants to laminate it. They really look up to my poly graduation. And luckily, it turned out not too bad, did not blink my eyes like i always did. Haha, and that's my director from IT school.



Yup, that's me. I was the last person for Dip IT. But whoever went for that day's grad would probably know what happened to me after i finished shaking her hands.

It was freaking embarassing. Instead of walking along the red carpet towards the exit, i walked down the stairs just infront of me, the one right in the middle. You would say, "You should see where the guy infront of you is walking to what?!!!!".

Correct. But i had to say something to the emcee, as being the last Dip IT person. At the same time, i was thinking and deciding how should i actually smile (smile widely, showing braces or just a simple smile?). So i didn't notice where HH, who is infront me, went to.

Then later, some of my friends even laughed at me. Mum told me she didn't dared to let other people know I was her son, and mentioned that no one made that mistake except for me. Come to think of it, I'm SHAWN LEE, so it is the RIGHT thing for SHAWN LEE to do! :)


After some lunch supplied by the school, i went around taking pictures with some of the CO97 people. A pity some weren't around. And with other friends too. Took with Jojo-jorita and Geraldine but Jo still haven send me leh.

It was funny like how i took this with Yanleng. She called me from far, but i didn't bothered about her for the first time as i thought she wasn't talking to me! LOL. I think i looked tall here ah, i never say anything else ah!

Not forgetting the very pretty Ms Natasha! My major project's web designing supervisor! She's very good, always kena bullied by me and Han Haw. HAHA! We're planning to go out for dinner with the Shan, Ariel and Mrs Fang someday, but it's hard to suit everyone's schedule. Sigh.

Last but not least, TP graduate, Mr SHAWN LEE! :)

After the grad, the Lee couple went to "pak tor" at Vivo to catch Indiana Jones. I went out with some the girls to watch Harold & Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay at Cineleisure. Woah, it's a very interesting one.

But but but. I made a mistake, i shouldn't watch the M18 film with those girls, very weird! Should be with my guy friends. Because the movies has too much "F" words, (i guess close to a hundred of them) and some content beyond my expectations of M18 films. Even the soundtrack music is dirty! Haha! It's just very weird watching with them! But i would say the movie is a very nice and funny one!



Lasertag Shootout! (24th May)

Went for Lasertag with my BIS colleagues. I remember not wanting to go initially because i remembered the day before i stayed out till rather late, and is very tired. And also because of the very warm weather during that period. But i didn't regret at all! Super fun!

It was at Toa Payoh Park. Costs $35 for students ($40 for normal adult), yeah it's a bit expensive but it's very fun! Most of the BIS people turned out, and with some of the previous batches of colleagues. Got to know some of them. Rebecca was pregnant so Boss and her didn't turned up, quite a pity didn't get to see them.

We have a couple of missions, the whole game lasted for like 1-2 hours. At the end of the day, all of us were wet and sweaty. My legs and arms were aching like hell, as we have to get in position when firing the gun. The guns are special, different sizes have different firing range. But i find that the shots miss easily, probably because the rays from the hot sun refract the laser rays away. I guess something like that lah.

Some of them wasn't in the photos, because these are actually taken and uploaded on the net by the lasertag people. I actually haven received those in Dianna's cam.

I was with this guy most of the time on one particular assassination mission. He was a nice person, leading me to backstab the VIP.



Then we had some rest and chat at MOS Burger, then went home. Melvin sent me home, wah, i long time never take his Phantom already. Haha. Then later in the night, went out again. Watched Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

It's not bad, but not as good as what i expected. To the contrary, quite disappointing in fact. The previous ones like the Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom and Last Crusade since the 80s' are really nice. I watched the series few years ago on a Indiana Jones collection DVD set, with all the series and some bonus materials. I would say it's a collectibles' item, definitely precious to me and of course my Dad.

The ending of this 2008 film is really lame in my opinion. Disappointing with the aliens ending lah. I would expected Jones' dad, Sean Connery, to appear but no! And i also have to mention George Harrison has really aged!!!!! He looked so young during the previous films! Probably thats why Sean Connery didn't appear and "died" instead.
