Stepppppp Up 2!

Went to watch Step Up 2 as already postponed many times. Finally! Speaking of the movie, it was really nice! The dance moves are soooooooo damn cool and fantastic. Make me also wanna go learn some dancing already! The lead actress is really hot! What more, Cassie is also one of the actresses in there. That's why i find her so familiar. Btw, she's really pretty in there!

Then we went on to Hougang's lan shop to play some CS. Not as good as before already. Been almost a year since i've gone places like that to waste money. Anyway it was fun, but you couldn't call me Wonderfruits' "Durian" anymore. :(

Not forgetting the Step Up 2 soundtrack! I even heard their OST before i've seen it. SUPER NICE! Sometimes, you should just stop your rock, emocore, love and whatever songs and listen some R&B ones! This OST is bound to get you SHAKING!!

Crazy.

(Gonna be wordy, as pictures are not with me now.)

Yesterday night (Saturday), we gathered at Kelvin's house for steamboat. He wanted to celebrate his birthday in advance. People went were Felix, Weili, Shaoqi, Tong Kiat, Shaowei and Andy whom arrived a little late.

It was rather fun at the steamboat part. But it was really fun yet infuriating when those idiots kept snatching the food around. Haha. I remembered placing the food i took onto my bowl, and when i turned to my bowl, stupid Andy quickly put it into his mouth! IN FRONT OF ME! And all of us just chatted happily..

Then came the girls, Caleen, Tricia and Shanel. But most of the food were gobbled up by us already. Hehe. We sang the birthday song and cut the cake. I told Kel's mum that i expected his cake this time to be a naked girl, since the last time was a bikini one. And she just laughed and laughed. Lol.

Then the fun starts... The part where i really really enjoyed.

We gave Kelvin a bottle of Vodka as his present. We opened it and his bro, Eric, took his Martell and all of us started playing. So fun! All of us (including the girls) have to drink up the Vodka shots, while shouting "Yum Seng" as suggested by me. SUPER FUN! HAHA!

Drinking pure Vokda is so different as drinking those mixed with juices and beverages. There comes the burning throat. Then we started playing with cards, and Kel kept losing, and drunk don't know how many shots already. He kept saying "我没有醉" the whole night. I think he's really drunk liao. :) Even thou Kel drunk alot, but Andy's face was VERY MUCH red-der than him. LOL.

I believe all of us have grown up, unlike the few years back where we childishly threw cakes around, playing around. Now we're into alcohol!

We went inside his room and all of us chatted, laughed and joked. For a couple of hours i guess. Some left, but i think it been a very very long time since so many close friends come together and chatted.

Was close to midnight. We walked and talked, as we sent the girls home. Hoping to get everyone as close as that night, I suggested gym on Sunday afternoon and everyone was agreeable.

Then Sunday.
Woke up earlier than normal, hopefully not to be late again. Problems came.
They couldn't make it because..

- Kelvin drunk way to much ytd and got allergies.
- Tricia had her running shoes in the office.
- Caleen said she told me about her grandma's visiting. I accepted since i might be forgetful.
- Weili was okay initially, but complained tired since he went Zouk last night.
- Felix said it was raining. I thought i got the hint.

Was very very frustrated, as i really wanted everyone to get together, yeah. But later i thought, everyone has their problems and its totally not their fault. Maybe it's mine, the organiser. Anyway, got the "gym be it rain or shine" motto, and made my way there. Luckily, my best friend, Felix, turned up.

Nevermind, there are always chances in future! :)

Changi Village.

Been really really lazy to update. But i've been watching more TV than playing games, some dramas and shows are really nice! Everyday is the same, probably i need a job.

And I finally went to the gym two days ago with Felix, after close to a month of slacking. The body aching starts already. This time, we left in only an hour of working out. Usually we would stay there up to 3 to 4 hours!

Met up with Jiamin, Chunhong and Sandra for supper. Jiamin finally has passed her driving liao! While driving, she looked VERY stressed and tensed. And i was sitting in front, which made me a little worried about her driving skills. Haha.
Anyway, we went to Changi Village. My first time there. We ate the famous Nasi Lemak which they claimed was famous. It was really not bad lah. But the smoke in there made my nose really uneasy, want to Ah-Chooo but cannot 'come out'. After the food, we took a walk at some beach or something near the hawker centre.

I guess everyone knows what's Changi Village most famous about. Yes, the transvestites aka Ah Guas aka Bapoks. And Sandra kept saying about it. While we drove out the carpark, we saw this "lady" kinda flipping her skirt repeatedly, holding on a cigarette. Her body language told me what she does for a living. I asked them, "Wah, why she wait here? Here got customer meh?" Then Sandra told me "she's" a guy. We were like "OMG WTF", coz we thot she's quite "pretty" leh.

But speaking of them, im sure everyone knows Thailand are the best for them. One very good example, Treechada Marnyaporn. Can you imagine "she's" a guy?!

One wrong move... Kills them all.

Yesterday was supposed to be a dinner with Ms Natasha, Mrs Fang, and us. Lots of uncertainty in between, then it was finally finalised. Then Natasha cannot sia. Haiz, gotta wait liao.

Today went to PS for the movie, Fatal Move. Long time never go out already, i dont want to be 宅男! (thanks ah adels :) ). Felt so good, smelling the air outside of Serangoon!

The movie was not too bad.. But lots of violence, sword-slashing with blood and limbs all over. The girl-torturing part was totally gruesome! That guy took the pliers, and removed her top and bottom front tooth, and one of her fingernails!!! Errr, WTF.

I don't understand the last part thou. But still i'll give it a 8/10 rating, with those visual effects and storyline.

Chilling.

Went Waraku with Weegek and Yanyan. Tisa was supposed to come but was held back by some project stuffs. Anyway, it been years since i met up with them already! Weegek still okay lah, seen quite often in school, but Yanyan almost 3 years liao!

Suprisingly, i can still talk so much. Cannot blame lah, i too friendly already. Haha. We chatted about many things, and even went to Starbucks at Millenia Walk. We're not gone even when the shop has already closed (we're sitting outside). It's quite fun to have another group of friends talking about different things. :)

IT Project Show 08.

Never expect that show to have so much people there, to be exact, VIPs. Many big shots/bosses came to our school. Even my SIP colleagues, Yujin, Rebecca and Dianna, were invited and came to have a look. But a pity i didn't have to chance to speak with them, and they left.

Me and George were saying we were super heng that NVSS's principal never come. If not he would be doing his trademark move (touching his backside. OPPS!), and asking "I was invited for this show, but i don't who are you all leh." Hehe.

Anyway, glad to hear so many good comments from those VIPs, regarding our project. This project is still initiated by us in the beginning, although wasn't me and Ariel the ones who cont'ed it. But happy to see our "baby" turn out to be so beautiful and nice since we left. Honestly, I was so surprised and taken aback when i saw the project at first sight.

And luckily i did my part for this show (at least for a small bit). Because you see, Hanhaw and Peishan are the ones who cont'ed the project. Ariel is the presenter. Everyone has a role. And me, the one who gives out brochures. I'm obviously the 老鼠屎 there.

But luckily i helped to promote our project to some of the VIPs. Before my SIP, i confirm + chop don't dare to talk so much one. But there i helped answer calls and thus making me overcome most of my speech disability. Heh. I wasn't even stammering, which really make me very happy. :)

Sorry, lets not digress. Present, present, present. Those VIPs finished looking and start going for buffet lunch. All of us went ahead too. But food was already "few pieces before none" (shawn's own description). And i was really hungry till the end of the whole thing. That time was supposed to end everything, but we still had to wait for the press (Straits Times/CNA) to come and interview us.

Our very good course manager, Mr Lim, had arranged an interview with a reporter from ST i think. But don't know why we wasn't selected for the CNA filming. But was still fun watching the whole filming done. So cool. Haha.

And we took a couple of photos with our course manager. Upload later bah.

Later went home with George. We really talked alot during the bus journey. Haven met him for very long time before the Project Show thingy. And we even had dinner together at our favourite chicken rice stall at Hougang Plaza's kopitiam. LOL.


Like that also got cert sia. Wahahaha.

Insomniac.

Are you suffering from insomnia too? Because i am! But it's no big deal. Been like this for since upper sec.

I've been turning and tossing on the bed, consecutively for don't know how many days already, and i have to wake up early morning for the Project Show 08's rehearsal. I am tired, but just cannot fall asleep. Probably not been running regularly. Oh, running and doing exercises is just another temporary workaround i've implemented. This would then tire me out, and thus (hopefully) make me go to sleep. :(

And that stupid rehearsal, go there wait wait wait, talk awhile then can go off already. So lame lah.

Had to go to school for IT school's Project Show briefing. Peishan and Hanhaw's project got in, so me and Ariel to join them since 4 of us started initially. Ariel didn't turned out. Anyway, their current project is indeed much much more impressive than the one when me and Ariel left for SIP.

Briefing lah, lots of crap. Rushed there late (was supposed to be 11am), and less than an hour can go already. Wasted my sleeping time. And somemore i've not touched that project for more than half a year already, don't even know the details want to present what siaa! :(

Surprisingly, George's project was also voted for the project show! He super tyco lah! Hehe.

Okay, another thing. Everyone (at least the guys) knows SEA latest online game, CabalSea. Kelvin and gang have been asking me to play. Hanhaw is asking me to play. And some other friends too. I've been rejecting them umpteen times, and is deciding to quit MMORPGs for sure.

That night. Mum came into the room and said, "Eh boy ah, i got take new game for you to play leh." I was wondering, "Aiya, don't want lah, must be those MapleStory and Audition those kind of childish game lah." IT TURNED OUT TO BE CABALSEA'S STARTER KIT! I told her how everybody asked me to play, and she said, "Oi, must win hor, don't lose to other people."

Omg, even mum is asking me to play. How can i defy her?! :)
MMOs quitting failed again. Haha. But don't worry, i know my passion for these, it'll die off after some time. (But its quite fun leh, i got Level 20 in 3 days. Haha!)

Oh Nose! Am I Gay?

In addition to the previous post, i have to mention that Dad has finally found a job. He's in sales again, dealing with electronics and IT stuffs. But at least he's working yeah. Further more, he'll be given a supervisor position if there's good performance. Good. :)

Mum claims to say that this is the best birthday present that Dad has given. All of us were happy for him.

Before he found that job, he told me one day, "If you want to learn driving, or even go into university, just go ahead. Don't worry about monetary issues, i'll find solutions. Most importantly, study hard. Don't be like me, can't even look for a job. And if I had a driving license, i could even be a taxi driver or deliveryman."

That moment, obviously i didn't feel good. For the first time, i got touched by what he said. Who wouldn't? Anyway, everything's fine now. :D

Okay, back to March 10.

That day, I helped Mum with some household chores. (Then she decided to buy the HDD for me. Hehe.) We headed to my cousins, Alvin and Elecia's birthday party at those Pasir Ris resorts. They're are both siblings. Along the way there, me and Mum had serious adult talks, like my studies, Dad's employment, and those stuffs that normally your Mums will say to you yeah. Was a hearty chat.

When we reached there, Aunty Carol immediately came up to me and say that she's gonna intro a girl (Alvin's friend) to me. She startled me and I immediately rejected her offer. Haha. But the girl she wanna intro to me looked pretty yeah. :)

And this HK guy that aunty intro-ed us looked very familiar. All of us spoke in Cantonese. I think my Canto is very pro up to this stage now already. Haha. Then I remembered this HK guy, Simon, tooked me to Night Safari more than a decade ago. Lol. And Simon's family is very kind and friendly.

Anyway, it was a rather suay day for me too. First, while i was taking food, this bird shit don't know came from where and dropped onto my hand! WTH.

*IMPORTANT PART

Next, after cutting the cake, Alvin wanted group pictures with his friends. And so requested me to help take the pictures. I was waiting for them to get into position, and beside me was one of his guy friend. He was looking at me, and said...

Our (mini) conversation:

*I gave the "Oi, see what see?" face.

He: Hi, what is your name ah?
Me: Errrr, I'm Shawn...
He: Ohh okay...

*He just wanted to know this? Couldn't be..

Me: Eh why ah?
He: Orhhhh. No lah, I think you very handsome.

The very first instinct, "OMG, IS HE GAY?!"

Me: Ohhhh, thanks. (trembling with fear.)


After that, i quickly told Alvin about that and he laughed like crazy.
OH NOSE! I THINK I'M IN TROUBLE! Is he gay or DO I LOOK GAY? Tell me! :(((

If a girl told me that, i might be happy, but a guy.. The feeling's so weird. HAHA. I think im too good that even guys want me. JK! ROFLHAHA.

Let me emphasize, i'm not a gay ah. I love ONLY girls.

But fear not, if i'm gay, i'll only go to Felix Chang. (Remember, my ass is always for you. :) ) WAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA. (siao liao.)

Okay, the IT Show held at Suntec Convention Hall is probably the talk of the town. I've been there for at least 3 days out of the 4. Looking at the show girls?! Hell no! I'm such a decent-looking young man. I'm there to checkout those IT products! (But the speaking of the girls, some are really pretty! :) )

Happy Birthday Mum! :)
I gave her a very good birthday gift! Heeeee.

Anyways, that night i accompanied Bryan to the IT Show after his work. It closes at 9PM, and we are still on the road at 8.30PM! And there was no parking there! And had to park at this grand-looking hotel. Couldn't recall the name. And there's this uber cool Maserati parked there!

And we just did some last minute look around(s). Left not long after. And parking was $4! I think we only left the car for less than an hour! Haha. Had supper at Lavender Food Square.

Went the IT show again with Felix, Shaoqi and Shaowei. Saw lots of stuffs i wanted. I wanted a graphic card, a portable HDD, a camera (preferably a pro one). But where got money?! And happened to meet Beatrice working at the Nikon booth, and we both had a short chat. I was so engrossed looking at the cams that i didn't noticed her. It was until Felix told me. I'm so freaking blur. Haha.

And i was telling her another Nikon girl was also pretty, then she seemed to be curious of who. But luckily i never say, if not later paiseh liao! LOL.

Me and Felix had decided on the Western Digital's portable HDD. 160GB for $129.99. Rather reasonable i guess. A rough guide/standard would be 1GB for $1. Saying of that day, i really have to apologize to Felix Chang.

Yes, i was damnnnn late. Meeting time was 3.30PM, i reached 5PM. I wanted to take a direct bus 'cos i didn't wanted to change trains here and there. Lix was already there waiting, and even before Bugis, traffic was jamming allllllllllll the way until Suntec. I was stucked in there for more than an hour. Traffic wasn't moving at all!


And i freaking took 10 minutes to go inside to the halls! That was really ALOT OF PEOPLE! We quickly purchased the HDD and quickly left.


AND SOMETHING SOOOOOO LUCKY! Me and Felix were queueing up for our HDDs. The 160GB HDDs were really selling like hotcakes, and when it's our turn, it turned out that we have the last 2 sets! SOOOO DAMN LUCKY LAH! We were like smiling to each other after that. :)

Errr.

First, made a trip to the bank to settle my debit card thingy. Met Bryan for lunch at Kovan. The chicken rice was really nice! Then, headed to Bryan's house to format his computer. And solved some of his desktop problems. It's been years since i've stepped into his room already.

And there's this drama, Best Bet, on Ch. 55 that is nice!

Late evening, met up with Jiamin to have dinner at Soon Soon Teochew Porridge around Kovan area. I tell you, was really heavenly. See lah, how to 减肥 with these friends around?! But then, which of my butty wanna go eat with me someday? :)

Happy Day!

Firstly i've gotta say..

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SHANEL YIP!

Not been blogging probably due to the lazy bugs all over me. And also stupid Blogger for the instability of their servers. And plus the guys asking me dota every night. Soo... It's quite a lot of reasons to support. Heeee.

Okay, anyways, we went MOF at Bugis for lunch. Miss Quek stated the time was 12 noon, but she and Tricia came almost at 2PM! And worst, the birthday girl was already there waiting! Their japanese food was relatively good, and almost enjoyed every single dish we ordered. Very very the satisfied. :)









And something very (very very very) coincidental. I knew Felix has the same shirt and jeans as me. I suspected he would wear the same jeans, but never did I expect the same top as well!

"Okay, we're working in the same company. That's our office wear, nothing special.", we consoled ourselves. :)

I think everyone was looking at us. It was really embarassing! I think we're seriously gay. See for yourselves! Haha!

Then, we separated ways after eating the cake. Felix and Tong Kiat had to go. The rest of us went on for the photoshoot. Tricia's event company had to do a poster for SMU's open house, thus she seeked the help from me, Junlong and Caleen. (I've got the hardest pose.)



But they only needed our backviews. It was only on the day that we knew what was going on. We couldn't reject her, she's Tricia Koh leh.. Hee. The photoshoot venue was at National Library near Bugis.
