not in the mood for '08 but...

today we went shopping again, and also for miss caleen's present. We practically walked the same route as yesterday again. Haha! And there was really really ALOT of people at town.

We didnt plan any countdown stuff/party. We went to play billiards at HG Plaza, we were really lousy players that it took quite a long time!

Kelvin mentioned that he, me, felix and weili are one of the closest among the rest. So we formed the BOB4(s). HAHA!

crowds and crowds and more crowds!

Went shopping with Weili and Felix to Orchard for some shopping. There was seriously lots of sales around, but then the nice ones/correct sizes are already taken by others already.

Me and Felix bought the same tshirt from Bossini, a very surprising brand that i'll go for. But who cares as long it's decent looking. There's 50% discount and costs only $10 over bucks! Haha.

Furthermore, me and Felix are aiming on same Topman skinnies. Omg, we are so freaking gay lah! I think we got at least 3 of the same tops already. Maybe we can get married if i still cannot find a gf in future! HAHA!

Okay, with regards to the previous post, it was just my sudden thoughts and i decided to write it down. I'm feeling quite okay already. No worries, my friends.

FELIX'S BBQ PARTY (FRIDAY)

Went to see doc as i didnt want to report to work. Surprisingly, Dr. Cheong diagnosed some problems with me! I told her im having sorethroat and flu. She said "Oh ya, it looks swollen!" And i got 2 days MC! Shall not say how jian the way i got the MC. :)

Was Mr Felix Chang's birthday. We had bbq party at his friend's condo. That day had lots of activiites for me, other than his party. Supposedly, I would had gym with trish in the afternoon, bbq party for felix, lynn and gang's dinner at the same time together, then powerhouse with my cousin Alvin in the night.

But then i didnt know why other than Felix's bbq party, the rest didnt happened. Quite paiseh for Alvin because he jio-ed me for quite some time already. And i got scolded by Jiamin by replying way too late. Both got cancelled.

Okay, about the party. The gang and Felix's poly friends were there already. Me and Caleen went there at a later time.

At the end of all, i ate only one marshmellow, one chickenwing and one hotdog. Poor Felix didn't even eat anything! There was alot of food but then too little ppl bbq-ing, i guess.

The most exciting part is that Shanel, that potato, brought his bf (not sure if he is) along! And he's a caucasian! So shocked....

Followed Felix and gang to HG for mac. I even told Felix if we could take some leftover chickenwings and ask the mac people bbq for us McWings for free! Haha!

Thou we didn't had enough to eat, but then the bbq was fun (in a way). :)

AFTERNOON GYM (SATURDAY)

Went to the gym with tricia. finally passed her the christmas present! Hope she like it lah. But those cookies really tasted nice!

I also passed neighbour Hannah her christmas gift too. Finally all gifts are gone!

Also, an old man asked me for directions after trish left. He said he's lost, and wanted to go to HG Mall. I showed him, but then he seems so lost. I hope he could find his way there.

Me?

A sudden thought recently. I feel so distant towards most of my friends, not just poly friends, but towards old schoolmates too. They seem to be so different, so much so that i don't seem to understand them anymore. They looked unfamiliar, that i sometimes find it hard to blend into them. Somehow i feel i'm not really needed around at times.

Or probably the whole thing started with me, i was the one who changed? Even i don't know.

Alone? Nah..

I went to gym straight away after work. Tricia couldn't make it as she had something on. No, i don't feel alone, honestly speaking, i was quite used to being like this. Okay lah, gyming alone has it's own fun too.

The gym instructor Lorraine and the other girl i couldn't recall, was very friendly. Kept chatting with me. See, I still make friends along the way! :)

A special Christmas too...

More than half of the gang didnt know where we were going to celebrate. Most of us dressed up very nicely. It was along the journey that we starting knowing we are off the Da Chang Jin. Not the K-drama, but it's a korean bbq at Kallang area.

Even MRTs had service delays because of the occasion, not to mention that restaurant we went. Luckily we booked that table, if not we're gonna wait for very long already. There lots of cheena people there (not being racist), or the shop is owned by them. It's very hot and smelly. There goes our nice clothes already.

After the dinner, i thought we'll be going to club, or at least pub, or maybe to walk ard town area. Then they decided to go to Shanel's condo to talk cock. Initially, i was quite unhappy with plan, but then it turned out quite good. Everyone had to share something with everyone else. Mostly relationship. Haha.

A special eve this year..

This year's christmas eve is indeed special and different in a way.

I had to work halfday for today, and plan was to meet weili and guys for some outing/shopping. But YES, i got pangseh-ed like, again.. Happen to chat with Joy on MSN, then decided to meet her for lunch. Her cousin, Han, was there too.

They had some light shopping for their BFs, and i exchanged a oversized tshirt from Harley Davidson, which was supposed to be a christmas gift from Serene. The new one is nice!

I also bought some Famous Amos cookies (my favourite!) as christmas gifts.

And something to mention, Han's head was really small! I think she has the smallest head in the world lah, unlike Joy. :)

Later, i went home to have a bath before heading to Lynn's home for steamboat. There were Jiamin, Bryan and Chun Hong. She's one of the FA people i gave. Haha. Her mum has really been a great host! Keep stuffing us with food! And that pui bong (lynn's nick) really eat alot!

And we were saying how no class we were, eating steamboat on Christmas Eve. Because steamboat are normally eaten during CNY. Was very fun lah. :)

Later we brought some red wine, wanting to head to HG plaza for Kbox, but it was freaking $38! Damn expensive. So we decided to book and watch I Am Legend at Great World City.



Show was quite interesting. Very Residential Evil-like. But a pity it had little exciting scenes, and the ending was quite abrupt.

That time was 3am when it ended. Then, we went Punggol End to chill, but not long after, everyone was like halfdead, sleeping on the car. Haha. I reached home at 6am.

Christmas mood!

Saw the deco at orchard yesterday, and today at vivo. And I'm in the christmas mood already! Anyway, I watched National Treasure : Book of Secrets, with Felix, Weili, Kok Boon and Alvin.

It was a rather nice one, but we thought part 1 was much more exciting than this. Anyway, its good to catch this movie. And i bought some x'mas presents too!

(Partially) Lonely saturdays

Everyweek this day, its gonna be my most boring/lonely day. Since its my half day, i would normally ask the guys out. Was supposed to shop for some stuffs, but then the plan as usual got cancelled again.

Ariel left. I was left alone in the office again. Had to wait for mum first to make our way down to cousin Andrew's birthday at East Coast Park. Didnt want to go and wait at home, so i stayed at office. I was really hungry that i dug food and found every corner that i could. And was so bored too! I touched the guitar there and anyhow strum. Haha. And even played dota.

I remember i came to office at 9AM. I went off at around 3.30PM. Waited again at Bedok bus interchange for almost 1 and half hour, to allow me and my family to meet at ECP. But i was way too early.

Anyway, lets fastforward lah.

Andrew and his friends were either bartenders or heavy clubbers, i guess. They were performing jugglings and drinking Waterfalls. Ouch, must be so pain to the throat. And while me and cousin Alvin were playing pool at lobby, Mum and aunty told us that Andrew and friends were very daring.

They had to strip and take photos! Then, Andrew's friends had to put cream on his nipples, and then lick them off! Wah lao! Super gross rite! Aunty still say its R21 sia. HAHA!

After that, my uncle drove me to PS then met up with Chun Hong, Lynn and Jiamin for some chilling. Ate some desert, did some window shopping, then walked to Cineleisure's HK Cafe for some more food. Haha.

Until time says it all.

Because of some change of plans, i went to gym with tricia at Planet Fitness at Vivo. We had the one week guest pass. Its totally FOC. Thanks to beatrice as well. :)



Compared to the one at Hougang, Planet Fitness is totally cool. The equipments there are so solid, the toilets are big, with hair dryers and super big mirrors. Machiam like hotel sia. And there's this female gym instructor who is so helpful to help me and trish out with those machines. Haha.

And know what? The coolest thing isn't those yet. The coolest thing is that there's TV on the treadmill! WTF! I may sound suaku, but i really like it and think that's really cool.

After the workout, we went to Asian Kitchen to eat. I like my noodles, was some chicken mushroom noodle. I duno about hers, but mine is delicious!

Went to Acer Service Centre to get borrow something from them, waited for freaking long time siaaa. Then cabbed back to office. But then it was considered quite a wasted trip. Dont mention it already lah.

Anyway in the night, met up with Lynn, Chun Hong, Jiamin and Bryan at Chomp Chomp for some food. Then drove to Seletar Reservoir or something to relax and talk. The cars/bikes there are really.... super super modified, all those zeng parts. Vroom here and vroom there, so noisy.

One day at school

Went back TP for mid-SIP briefing.

Met up with Trish first to get the gym tickets given by Beatrice, then met up with classmates and all to be into the lecture hall. It's soooo full that all of us resorted to sitting on the floor. I finally met Han Haw and been AGES i lamed with him! I sang my version of "I'll been dreaming of a true love kiss..."

It's super lame. Haha. And we found out who Miss spongebob SQUARE pants is. :D

Afterwhich, I left school with Lichuan, Ariel, Guoxian, Jocelyn and Adelin for Orchard. Ate together at restaurant at Fareast called Sakura, the E-mee was delicious! Joy left later and the rest of us just shopped and shopped, or rather, only the girls did their shopping. Me and GX waited for super super super long time lah, so tired.

When we are about to go home, i found my loafers at Pedro! So much cheaper than those at Zara. I'M SO GONNA BUY!! :)

After work, i went to Punggol Plaza to meet Lynette, Jiamin and Chun Hong to eat zi char for dinner. Food was rather delicious.

While eating, Lynn suddenly asked me, "Eh you last time liked me before huh?"

What a question! i was like "WTF? The thing so long ago still want to ask!"

But then my face immediately turned RED when she popped that question. I swear i was freaking paiseh atm. But then, she still want to know what had happened! Luckily, we were very good friends now lah, then i told her everything lor. Haha.

Later, Bryan came with his Toyota and drove us to Upp. Thomson Road for some hongkong-like desert. I forget what was the shop name, but it was not too bad. And our bill costs the same as zi char (40 plus dollars!). Cant figure out why is it so expensive.

When driving me home, there's this It's My Life song by Bon Jovi that we know, and all of us sang like nobody's business! Bryan even turned up the volume and wound down the windows and blasted the music like some young ah bengs would. Damn funny! HAHA!

Went to office early at 9am, with totally no one there except for me and Jane. There wasn't even the more senior staff. I just downloaded some songs and chatted on msn (against company's policy. hehe.)

But then i helped them washed the stupid and dirty fan. Its directing on me and it's so dirty. And all the dust/dirt is blown to my face lah, just cant stand it. So i made an effort to wash it.

After work, went to meet up with Tricia at hougang gym. She said she had to help paint her house and thus was late. Would she be so helpful? :D

She asked me if she has grown fat. I would say.. maybe a little bit. HAHA!

After gym, she had to go home and i had to meet Weili and Felix at Bugis. And she finally treated me bubble tea as promised! Next time then i'll treat her back lah. Fair okay?

Let's move to Bugis. I was intending to buy my loafers there, but i couldn't find one! One that is affordable yet nice. I like the ones at Zara. BUT IT COSTS AT LEAST $160! Mum's gonna hack me if i were to buy that!

Because of Lynn's birthday, i went to Grapevine at Upper Serangoon Road in the evening for dinner. Bryan, Chun Hong, Kang Hwee and Sandra were there too. So long never meet some of the people already. And Grapevine is actually a pub/restaurant. Food was rather nice. Took a couple of pictures, was so fun.

We were also expecting Jiamin to come. She went to Bintan and will come to look for us. ALL OF US kept calling her, there was no answer and she didnt bring her phone along! Seriously, i was quite worried about her safety. Luckily, after many times of calling, she was at home!

Then we decided to meet her at 2AM : Desert Bar at Holland Village. Bryan was driving, but then Chun Hong had to return to camp. Anyway, by the time we reached, it was freaking closed! Then we ate icecream at Cold Rock, it's a very delicious yet expensive place. :)

I was at Community of Praise Baptist Church (CPBC) at Tan Boon Liat Buildings at Outram Road. It was at Mummy's office place! Did some setup at CPBC before showing up at Mummy's office to just visit her.

After that, I was told it was company's Thanksgiving Dinner (held every quarterly), eating at Killiney Road in a restaurant called Cross Keys. Dinner was nice and fully sponsored by Boss! We had to share what we were thankful about to the others. I think i getting used to the company's culture already.

I saw ME LOVE! (ariel knows who im talking about. hehe.)

Today the canteen fruits stall aunty made me a special mix fruit juice. I would always patronise her stall and tell her..

Aunty: "Aiyo, you again ah. Make me headpain lah. (then she'll recommend)

Haha. I'll go to her everyday, and she's happy after seeing me! Today i told her i was getting heaty, and she made a "cooling" one for me. She's soooo nice! :)

It was some of my colleagues "last day", they'll be on a trip to U.S, and some more places for more than 2 weeks, leaving tomorrow. The whole company will be left with us, the interns, together with Weimin and Melvin. It's gonna be havoc already lah! Haha!

Rebecca gave me a hug before i left office to deliver something to a client. It was seriously a heart-warming one.

Where are all my friends today?

Went to Wee Woon Hong and Associates at Raffles Place. Its a business office area, rather grand and classy. Me, Joke and Weimin helped to setup the servers, and out of our jobscope, vacuum-ed the server rack. Freaking dusty sia!

Initial plan was to meet Yu Jin and Rebecca for their life story telling, and then meet Tricia for gym. But then she couldn't make it as she worked overnight for her presentation today. I understand how it feels to not have sleep. So i never really blamed her. I asked quite a number of other friends, but none replied except for Weili. Sad.

I'm so alone! All my friends abandoned me!

So i went to the airport to meet my bosses, Dewi (she have to leave for indonesia), Joe, Ariel. We had Popeye, a rather nice KFC-lookalike fast food restaurant. Food is nice and it's the only outlet there in SG, and probably that's what makes it special.

We listened to both their stories, it took about 4-5 hours listening to them. Their past, how they knew each other, got married, etc. Luckily i didnt meet Tricia as i told her the meal would last only 1 hour. :D

After that, I decided to gym alone, and Yu Jin drove me to the hougang gym. It sounded sad, but it isn't so, as i prefer to do things alone. It's a super refreshing workout.

Is that all?

Went to Diocese of Singapore in the morning for some computer setups with Melvin. Job was rather easy. There was this poster about the Vietnamese children that they've helped, and i really like this shot. So young and innonent.

The night before, i sent sms asking my gang to go out for shopping or movie, but only like 2-3 replied. I sent to at least 7-8 ppl. Was quite glad felix, weili and kelvin will be out for movie. But then kelvin suddenly pulled out. But then i dont blame him, he has something "so important" to do. Haha. :)

Ending up only me, felix and weili went to watch the Golden Compass at PS. I also saw lichuan, adels and guoxian there. Okay, speaking the movie, it's a sci-fi, fantasy and fictional movie.

The effects are really cool, but what's dissapointing is that the movie is like showing Disc A without Disc B. It tells the audience that there's part two and then, end of the movie. I was like "wtf?" I would give 7.0 out of 10 for it. And Nicole Kidman in there is another hottie like Gwen Stefani. Hahaha. :D

On my way home today, i passed by a newspaper stand and got so captured by the Teens mag and just bought it. Just duno why, but Felicia Chin looks so pretty yeah. :)

Penny for my thoughts?

Went to one client's house at Holland V. to setup/configure her notebook. She was very friendly, and i was so good to explain all the IT stuffs in details to her. And she kept saying "Shawn, i'm so blessed that you are here to teach me! Thank god! You're such a gift!"

And i stayed there for almost 3 hours. See? I'm so approachable. :)

I felt so lethargic after getting back to office. Nothing to do, and slowly the eye closed. And i occasionally slapped myself to stay awake.

I went for an haircut at Aljunied since my hairstylist is off for long leave soon.

While on the train, Joke asked me a question, "What do you see in your future spouse/girlfriend?"

I thought, "I'm not even a quarter to that stage yet."

I paused and stopped for quite a few seconds before i said, "Gentle, ability to do household chores, kind, good nature, not necessary to be beautiful." He told me his expectations and they would probably get married next year.

It got me thinking for quite some time that I should actually, think and plan for the future.

And it was such a funny day.

After work, i waited for some colleagues to go Serangoon MRT station together. Ariel left for Redhill station to have her puff first. When we came to meet her, she walked towards us CRYING!

At that moment, i thought, "must be quarrel with her bf again lah".

She cried while saying, "the bubble tea aunty scold me!"

I LAUGH LIKE SIAO LAH! It's so stupid! Hahaha!

My colleague, Dianna's wedding! I'm the usher! My wedding ppt was displayed there also!

So touching leh the scene, especially the marriage vow part. And Dianna cried so much lah. Makes me wanna get married sia. Haha, jk lah.

The whole thing wasn't as long as i expected. After the ceremony was a buffet dinner then we can leave already. Will upload the group pics after i get hold of them.

After the dinner, i shared cab with Weimin, and then went to Kelvin's house for his sister's birthday celebration. It was the laughing jokes again.

Played true or dare, and all of us sabo-ed Kelvin to do a forfeit! He had to shout "Smelly armpit!" outside Mrs Ang's doorsteps (few units beside him). FREAKLY FUNNY! Haha!

And congratulations to him for.. HAHAHA. :)

Went to Sitex Show with Felix and Weili to get their stuffs. Hell lots of people. There was a John Little sale, Me and Weili bought some nice and cheap Hush Puppies boxers. Haha!

And I got lost from them, i got so pek cek that i went outside and didnt want to find anymore. I waited for very long and they still haven come out! I had no choice but to find them. They bought some RAMs and hard disk.
